Accountability and Experience

  Maui Roofing is owned and operated by Tim Leist.  Tim is a licensed roofing contractor since 1979 and a Hawaii resident since migrating from California for hurricane Iniki reconstruction in 1992.  He has hand's on experience installing every roofing material for residential and commercial projects including wood shakes and shingles, concrete and clay tile, comp, metal, coatings, cap sheet, singleply and solar roofs.  Tim is especially familiar with Maui's roofing needs, having roofed or repaired hundreds of homes in the last 30 years.  In addition to numerous residential roofing projects on Maui, he re-roofed commercial projects from Red Hill Observatory on Haleakala's summit down to historic Waiola Church in Lahaina by the sea.  In recent years Tim responsibly managed roofing for two roofing and solar companies in Hawaii.  He supervised roofing for these entities until leaving in late 2022 to resume serving his roofing customers in person.  Tim and Maui Roofing have held the Select ShingleMaster credential from CertainTeed corporation since 2008.  His company can offer the best roof warranty in the industry for the most widely-used roofing materials in Hawaii.  Drug and alcohol free, Tim respects safety compliance and property protection on his roofing projects.
